Binaya Kumar Das as new Director of ITR

Balasore, November 18: Scientist Binaya Kumar Das was appointed as Director of the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur and he will take charge as director of the ITR on November 20.

He will be the youngest director of the test range and first Odia to hold such a position.

He said, "For the first time in the 30 years history of the ITR, a scientist of the test range was appointed as the director. I will try my best to live up to the expectations of people."

He stated, "My priority is to ensure zero fault from our side so that the missile progarmmes is not affected. I will fulfil Kalam's unfinished dream. We have to be independent. I have been always saying strength of ITR is its human resource."
