Matric exams from feb 22 to mach 4; 6,01,389 students to appear the exam

Cuttack,November 24: The Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today declared that the annual Matric examination will be held from February 22 to March 4. 

A record number of 6,01,389 students will appear in the examination. 

The board has hiked the remuneration for invigilators from Rs 15 to Rs 25 per sitting for the examination. 

Remuneration for evaluation of answer sheets has been hiked from Rs 4 per sheet to Rs 5 per sheet.

The examination will kick start with First Language subject on February 22 followed by Second Language on Feb 24, Third Language on Feb 26, Mathematics on Feb 29, Science on March 2 and Social Science on March 4.
