Sensex closed with a gain of 183 points

Mumbai:26;  Indian stock market trading day of the fourth week closed with gains on Thursday. The major index at the end of the trading session with a gain of 183 points at 25,959 and the Nifty ended at 7884 with a gain of 52 points.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share sensitive index morning down 5.93 points or 0.71 percent to 25769.81 points at the open and 183 closed with a gain of 25,959. Sensex in intra-day 26,016 ; 25,770 of the upper and lower level touched.

The National Stock Exchange (NSE) 50-share sensitive index Nifty opened at 7837.15 with a gain of 5.55 points or 0.67 per cent, with a gain of 52 points and closed at 7884. Nifty trading day of 7897 touched the upper and lower levels of 7832.
