Sensex Reclaims 26K; Nifty50 tests 7,900

Mumbai:26;  The market extended upside in early trade Friday with the Sensex hitting 26000-mark, up 63.04 points at 26021.67.

Nifty on the other hand also reclaimed 7900-mark on first day of December series, up 26.80 points to 7910.60.

Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) 30-share sensitive index morning with a gain of 144.57 points at 26003.20 open. The National Stock Exchange's 50-share benchmark index Nifty opened at 7910.60 with a gain of 26.80 points.

Thursday session in the Indian stock market rose strongly. The major index of the end of the trading session with a gain of 183 points at 25 959 and the Nifty closed at 7884 with a gain of 52 points.
