Contractual teachers intensify stir

Bhubaneswar:Nov 28; The agitating contractual high school teachers friday decided to postpone their strike under assurance from the state government for consideration of their demands.Association secretary Amaresh panda said they went to the high court judge friday to represent their grievances,but failed to met him."The state has assured us to take a decision on re-engagement of the contractual teachers.We willwait till december 1,if we do not get any satisfactory result,we will go in for strike again from december 3,"said panda.
