Indian Shuttler PV Sindhu Completes Macau Open Hat-Trick

Macau; Nov.29:  Indian shuttler PV Sindhu on Sunday defeated Minatsu Mitani of Japan to win the Macau open for the third time.

Fifth seed Sindhu, winner here for the last two years, defeated Mitani 21-9, 21-23, 21-14 to win the final match Macau Open Grand Prix Gold women's singles title here.

Although the Japanese rival bounced back in the second game, Sindhu regained the initiative and clinched the decider game in an emphatic style.

World No.18 Minatsu defeated Sindhu in the Japan Open in September in their only encounter so far.
