Aditya Padhi Take Responsibility As Chief Secretary

Bhubaneswar; Nov.30: 1983 Batch IAS officer Aditya Prasag Padhi will formally assume the charge of chief secretary on Monday. He was named for the top post on Saturday.

He is currently working as Addtional Chief Seceretary to Chief minister.

Padhi replaces GC Pati, who retires on November 30 as Chief Secretary of Odisha.

Reacting to the new appointment, Padhi said, "I am extremely happy with new assignment.I will try my best to implement the government's policies successfully."

Further, Padhi added, "Emphasis will be given to tackle drought situation, implement rural housing and electrification. Besides, major thrust areas will be health, education and employment sectors."
