Kotla Test Day 2: Rahane ton, Jadeja Five-For Put India In Commanding Position

New Delhi; Dec.4: Ravindra Jadeja plotted South Africa's downfall with a five-wicket haul after Ajinkya Rahane's brilliant century as India gained complete control of the fourth cricket Test by taking a commanding 213-run lead on the second day in Delhi on Friday. 

Jadeja produced a mesmerising spell of 5/30 to skittle out the helpless visitors for a paltry 121 in 49.3 overs on a sporting Feroz Shah Kotla track.

Earlier, Ajinkya Rahane struck the first century of the low-scoring series to help India post a series-high 334 in the first innings before the hosts returned to reduce South Africa to 38-1 at tea.

Rahane struck a cultured 127 and featured in a series-high 98-run partnership with Ravichandran Ashwin (56) before the hosts folded in the fifth over after lunch.
