We do not Playing for Ranking

Delhi, Dec 8: After clinching his first series victory at home as a full-time captain, a beaming Virat Kohli credited his team for performing collectively as a unit to produce a result that will take Team India to the second spot in the ICC Test rankings.

Kohli heaped praise on Rahane and Ashwin, defended his decision to not enforce the follow-on and also dedicated the series win to the Chennai flood victims. Here are the full transcripts of the Indian skipper's post-match conference.

In a question about ranking Virat said " Rankings do not matter to me, neither does it matter to the particular squad right now. If we keep performing well, obviously rankings will go up. You don't play for ranking. Obviously it's an incentive. Which we don't aim for but we want to play good cricket and be a good Test side.
