Badambadi bus stand will be shifted to Gopalpur

Cuttack, Dec 10: The Badambadi bus stand will be shifted to Gopalpur near Kathjodi river bank on the outskirts of the city.

As decided by the state government, a state-of-the-art bus terminal would come up in an  which The tehsildar of Cuttack Sadar on Monday handed over an area of 42.640 acres of land in Gopalpur Mouzato the state Commerce and Transport department.

The proposed bus terminal, which would be the first ultra modern bus terminal in the state, will have a passengers' waiting hall, food court, toilets, market complex and a sprawling parking area.

For the security of the terminal as well as the passengers, the government would provide 24-hour security with installation of CCTV cameras to keep a close watch on anti-social elements.
