Sexually Exploited Girl Rescued From Bhubaneswar Railway Station

Bhubaneswar; Dec.10: A 16-year girl, who was allegedly forced by her husband into flesh trade, was rescued from Bhubaneswar railway station on Wednesday.

According to sources, the girl, belonging to Kujang in Jagatsinghpur district, was kidnapped by Yudhisthir and his accomplices in 2014 and taken to Chennai where she was repeatedly raped by Judhishtir and his friends. Judhisthir also tried to sell her to a pimp and force her into prostitution.

When he returned to his village, he was forced to marry the victim and started staying in Old Bhubaneswar area, where she was forced into prostitution again and took money from various customers.

The girl was spotted by the volunteers of a social organisation while her husband was brokering a deal to sell her off to a pimp. They rescued her and produced her before the CWC where she narrated her spine chilling ordeal.

Meanwhile, the sadist husband has been arrested by the Jagatsinghpur police.

However, the accused did not mend his ways and forced her to indulge in prostitution. The victim was second time lucky as she could manage to flee from the clutches of captors, police said.

Investigation is still on and more persons are suspected to be involved in the a well-knit sex trade racket, said Kujang Police Station IIC Chinmoy Rout.

If required, a special team of police might go to Chennai for investigation, sources said.
