Firing near Khandagiri; Two youths injured

Bhubaneswar, Dec 11: late on Thursday night near Khandagiri area  two youths seriously injuried in the firing.

While one injured youth was identified as Ranjit Sethi but the other one's identification is yet under process.


The injured youths were first admitted to Capital hospital here and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack after their condition got critical.

Police have detained two persons in this connection and started investigation into the matter.

According to Police source, a group of six youths of Kalinganagar in Jajpur were residing in Nayapalli area here. Yesterday, they had gone together for dinner to a hotel in Tamando area.

While returning from there, a fight ensued among the youths and they opened fire at each other near Khanadigiri.
