Cong MLA Caught Watching Porn Inside Assembly

Bhubaneswar; Dec.15: A Congress MLA from Odisha has been caught watching porn inside the Assembly.

Naba Kishore Das, who represents Jharsuguda assembly constituency in the state, was found watching the clip during the question hour when a local TV channel, broadcasting the proceedings of the assembly, turned the camera on him.

The MLA, however, defended himself said "This is an unfortunate incident. I accidentally clicked on YouTube. I have no idea how to operate a smartphone. I was not aware of the content on the internet. It is a conspiracy against me. I am open to any probe. I will put my clarification before the Speaker tomorrow.

He claimed that as the battery of the mobile he use frequently was down, he had to use a second phone and said that the camera shot him when he accidentally scrolled down the videos on the YouTube.

Das' party colleagues said they were yet to ascertain facts. "I don't know the details. But I saw Das explaining that he did not watch porn," said Congress MLA Bhujabal Majhi..

"This is a shameful incident. This is shameful for the women and the people of Odisha. We damand an inquiry into the episode. He should be barred from the Assembly," BJD women's wing president Pramila Mallick demanded.
