Woah! Akshay Kumar Turns Villain For Rajinikanth's 'Robot 2'

Mumbai; Dec.17: You have seen Akshay romancing his heroines and beating the baddies into pulp on the silver screen. Now watch him display his evil side in Rajinikanth starrer 'Robot 2'.

Akshay who is super excited to be a part of this film took to Twitter to make the major announcement. He tweeted-"Ending the year on a high note! Super excited to be a part of Robot 2 with the one & only @superstarrajini sir! 

Reportedly the makers had approached 'Terminator' star Arnold Schwarzenegger. However things didn't materialize with him.

A source close to the film said, "The team has finally decided to rope in a Bollywood actor to play the villain. The deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger didn't work out for various reasons. Hence, the makers decided to move on, as the project was getting delayed."

Buzz is that Akshay flew to Chennai few days back to be a part of the puja and meet director Shankar and the rest of the cast. The film which will also be released in Tamil as 'Enthiran 2' hit the shooting floors yesterday.
