Police Busts Illegal Gun Racket In Jharsuguda, 5 Detained

Jharsuguda; Dec.19: In a major breakthrough, Jharsuguda police on Friday busted an illegal gun racket in the city and arrested five persons of the gang while they were planning to sell the guns brought from Bihar in the local market.

The arrested persons were identified as Sanjay Kumar Singh of Bindgaon area of Ara district in Bihar, Dillip Kumar Sahi of Jharkhand, Nepal Mistri, Muna Khadanga and Mrutunjay Pal of Jharsuguda area.

Following a tip-off and raid, four mousers, 11 live cartridges, four cell phones and Rs 6,000 cash have been seized from their possession, informed Jharsuguda ASP Binod Bihari Patel.
