Khurda: On Gunpoint Miscreants Loot Rs 28.85 Lakh From Toll-Gate Employees

Khurda; Jan.5:  Two Unidentified miscreants at gunpoint looted about Rs 28.85 lakh from the employees of the tollgate at Godipada near Jankia in Khordha district on Monday evening.

According to sources,A Tata Nano car in which two employees and an accountant of the tollgate were carrying cash collected at the tollgate to deposit at the bank was hit by a Tavera near Jankia bazaar. 

At this point of time unidentified miscreants who were following the vehicle in a Pulsar motorcycle from behind brandished a gun at the tollgate employees and snatched away the bag containing the cash. The miscreants later fled the spot.

On being informed about the incident, police rushed to the spot and started investigation into the matter.
