Dhenkanal: OPCC Secretary's house looted

Dhenkanal, Jan 12: The Town police in Monday began investigating a major loot in the house of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) secretary Siddeswari Mishra late on Sunday night.

In his complaint lodged with the police, Mishra said a gang of burglars entered his house by breaking open the main door and decamped with gold ornaments and other household articles worth lakhs of rupees while his family members were asleep in another room.

He said the family members came to know about the burglary on Monday morning.

Mishra also said the burglars, after committing the crime in his house, had attempted to burgle another house near his house but failed.
