Chennai: too much fog on runway;two international flights diverted to banglore

Chennai, Jan 14 : Two International flights were diverted to Bangalore today while three domestic aircraft were delayed early this morning due to thick fog on the runway, airport authorities said.

The Muscat-Chennai Oman Airways flight and an Air India flight from Dubai were diverted to Bangalore.

On the domestic sector, three flights bound for New Delhi, Hyderabad and Pune were delayed, they said.

The fog lifted in about 30 minutes after which the flights left for their respective destinations.
