Berhampur: Jan 16; The 8th State-level Natak Mahotsav, organised by the Odisha Natak Samaroh Samiti (ONSS) here from January 11, concluded on Friday.
The five-day festival featured dramas presented by various troupes from different districts every evening. On the inaugural day, Dhenkanal-based Charlie Chaplin Cultural Club presented a play titled Punascha Satyagrah while Koraput-based Askee Sports and Sanskruti Parishad showcased Merei on the next day. On the valedictory day, the ONSS presented an act titled Aahat Murchhana.
Brahmapur University Vice-Chancellor Prof Deepak Behera attended the valedictory event as chief guest while Brahmapur Tehsildar Rashmi Ranjan Nayak and District Cultural Officer Anil Kumar Karketa joined as guests of honour. Mahotsav convenor Kishore Patnaik and president Anik Patro were present among others.
