Maggi is back in Odisha market; Nestle India CMD met Odisha Chief Secretary

Bhubaneswar, Jan 22: Our favourite Maggi noodles finally reached in Odisha. Nestle India CMD Suresh Narayanan met Chief Secretary AP Padhi.  Narayanan briefed about how Maggi noodles are safe for consumption.  

Nestle India's popular brand two-minute Maggi noodles, which was banned for higher lead content, reentered the Odisha market on Thursday with due approval of the State Government.  

Food Security Commissioner Babaji Charan Das told the Nestle has been permitted to sell its Maggi noodles in Odisha market on two conditions one of which is it will have to maintain maximum of 2.5 milligram lead content in every kg of noodles.

 It should be noted that earlier the State Government had on June 8 banned the sale of Maggi noodles for its high lead content.
