Chandra Kumar Bose Grand Nephew Of Netaji Joins BJP

Kolkata: Jan 25; Chandra Kumar Bose, grand nephew of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, on Monday joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the presence of party president Amit Shah.

Mr. Bose was present at a public meeting here, which was addressed by the BJP president.

Mr. Bose had attended the ceremony where 100 files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose were declassified by the NDA government on January 23. He had said, "We welcome this step by the Prime Minister wholeheartedly. This is a day of transparency in India."
