YB Khurania Takes Charge As The Fifth Twin City Police Commissioner

Bhubaneswar: Jan 27; 1990-batch IPS officer YB Khurania on Wednesday took charge as the new Twin City Police Commissioner replacing Dr Rajendra Prasad Sharma. Khurania arrived at the Commissionerate Police headquarters here at 10.30 am and was given guard of honour before he took the charge from Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurania said he will work towards making the Twin City Commissionerate Police the best in India. Stating that a vision document of the commissionerate for 2020 will be prepared, the new commissioner said that maintaining law and order in the twin city will be his priority. Efforts will be made to fill all vacant posts in the commissionerate soon, he said.
