Five Suspected terrorists fled from Bhubaneswar detained in Vizag

Bhubaneswar, Jan 28: The four suspected terrorists, who fled from a hotel in Bhubaneswar on Wednesday detained in Vizag. Crime Branch IG said that similarities found between CCTV footage in Bhubaneswar and detained persons in Vizag. 

As per the latest report 5 suspected persons including two females detained at Nakkapalli police station in Vizag; 4 Iran passports seized from them. The suspected persons were detained by Nakapalli police along with a Toyota vehicle. The suspected persons are arrested by Nakkapalli police on charges of drunken driving.

STF team from Bhubaneswar leaves for Vizag to quiz 5 suspected persons. Crime Branch IG said that suspected persons detained in Vizag had fled from Bhubaneswar. The suspected persons had taken the Toyota car on rent from Delhi-based travel agency. The Toyota car bearing registration no DL 6CG-1520 is owned Karol Bagh-based jewellery shop owner.

The four suspected terrorists have managed to escape to Andhra Pradesh through the Girisola check gate in Berhampur. The incident came to fore on the basis of CCTV footage of the check gate. Notably, four suspected terrorists allegedly belonging to Iraq, fled from a hotel in Bhubaneswar on Monday night after they were told to produce their passports for the purpose of booking rooms in the hotel.
