Win for DAV student

Anubhav Satpathy of DAV Public School, Unit-VIII, secured the first rank in the state and 26th in the country in Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) test for 2015-2016. The students who qualified the test are eligible for direct admission into NISER and IISER.

Quiz contest: Abhinav Dhar and Siddharth Mishra from KIIT defeated 95 teams and were selected for the regional round of Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2016. They will now compete with champions from eight cities at the Zone 2 finals.
Essay competition: A large number of students took part in a state-level essay competition titled Rights and Entitlements of Senior Citizens Odisha's position and way forward organised by HelpAge India.

Toilets in schools: Infosys Foundation, the CSR arm of Infosys Bhubaneswar, constructed 365 toilets in 110 schools of Odisha, as part of its endeavor to support the 'Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya Abhiyan' in two phases.
