Heat wave condition continue in Odisha, IMD forecast rains in the state

Heat wave condition continue in Odisha.  On Tuesday with 16 places recording 40 degree Celsius and above.

The State capital registered 40.8 degree. Talcher recorded the highest of 44.6 degree while Titilagarh continued to boil at 43 degree. The other places which had temperature above 40 degree were Chandbali (40.3), Angul (44.1), Baripada (40), Jharsuguda (44.3), Keonjhar (42.5), Sambalpur (42.8), Sundargarh (41), Bhawanipatna (43.5), Balangir (43.5) and Phulbani (41), Malkanagiri (40), Sonepur (43.8) and Dhenkanal (42).

 The local office of the Indian Meteorological Department forecast thunderstorms and rains in some parts of the State, due to which these areas may get some respite from heat.
