Odisha Assembly adjourned till Wednesday, CM Naveen Patnaik attends all-party meeting

Odisha Assembly adjourned till tomorrow following uproar by the Opposition members. BJD supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik attends all-party meeting convened by Speaker Niranjan Pujari. 

 The all party meeting held on Tuesday in the State Assembly to resolve the standoff in functioning of the House has concluded. After the meeting Leader of Opposition Narsingha Mishra said” the meeting is neither a success nor a failure. We had demanded that the Chief Minister should attend the all party meeting. We had discussions with the Chief Minister and we have informed him about our demands.”

BJD in its reaction after the meeting said the Chief Minister wants the House to function normally . That is why he attended the all party meeting. They hoped that the House would function normally from Wednesday. The Speaker has adjourned the House till 10 30.am on Wednesday.
