Odish CM asked Urban Development Department to improve drainage system in cities

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday today reviews the functions of the Housing and Urban Development Department. CM Patnaik   asked the Housing and Urban Development Department to improve drainage system in cities and ensure proper discharge of rainwater during the monsoon.

Housing and Urban Development Department Minister Pushpendra Singhdeo told media that Chief Minister asked to the department to prepare a detailed project report (DPR) on the storm water drainage system in Bhubaneswar and other cities while expressing concern over the water-logging in ULBs including the capital city.
