BCCI chief gets a warm welcome in Hamirpur

The newly appointed BCCI chief and BJP MP Anurag Thakur was accorded a warm reception on his arrival at his parliamentary constituency here today.

Speaking at the Bachat Bhawan here, Thakur thanked the people of the constituency for electing him thrice to Lok Sabha and also helped him in his cricketing career.

Thakur said as BCCI chief, his endeavor would be to promote all types of sports in India and that Himachal Pradesh would get its adequate share.

He said that he would ensure that India achieved top positions in all formats of games and "best among best would be chosen to represent the country.
