SOG Jawans, Maoists Exchange Fire In Narayanpatna

Narayanpatna: Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel and Maoists reportedly exchanged fire during a combing operation at Kutudi forest under Bijaghati panchayat here on Thursday night.

According to sources, no one is injured in the crossfire.

Meanwhile, security arrangements in the district have been beefed up in view of the ensuing three-tier panchayat poll.

SOG jawans in larger numbers have been deployed in the district to avoid any kind of untoward incidents.
