Neil Nitin Mukesh's picture-perfect wedding in Udaipur is the stuff dreams are made of. The couple tied the knot as per traditional Hindu rituals in an intimate wedding ceremony on February 9. The ceremony was attended by family and close friends at a five-star hotel in the City of Lakes. The ‘New York’ actor looked regal in a cream and maroon sherwani while the bride looked gorgeous in a red and orange lehenga. Both the attires were designed by Sarath Krishnan.
Neil Nitin Mukesh was closely involved with the wedding shopping and wanted only the best and traditional for his big day. He looked like a prince in the sherwani with intricate golden embroidery, reminding us of his 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' look. His wedding trousseau was an authentic handicraft creation by Rajasthani craftsmen. Rukmini too was every bit the glowing bride, dressed in an orange-tone silk lehenga replete with heavy golden jewellery.
The actor, was eager to ditch the 'bachelor' tag, made sure to go all out and host a week-long celebration. The couple, along with their 500 guests, arrived at a 5-star hotel in the Lake City on Monday, and began pre-wedding festivities that included the engagement ceremony on Tuesday, the Sangeet and Mehendi on Wednesday.
