Mahindra Scorpio TOISA 2017 Nominees: Kabbadi

NEW DELHI: Ahead of the Mahindra Scorpio Times of India Sports Awards (TOISA) to be held on March 20, here's a look at the two nominees for Kabaddi Player of the Year.

The biggest name in Indian kabbadi, Anup captained India to the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup title in Ahmedabad. He also led U Mumba to the final of the Pro Kabaddi League.

Part of the Indian team that won the Kabaddi World Cup title in Ahmedabad, Ajay top-scored with 12 points during the win over Iran in the final, in addition to effecting two outs that turned the match. He was voted Man of the Tournament during the World Cup, for being the top points-scorer (68) and top raider.
