Fuel Pump Staff Injured In Firing By Robbers; Rs 2 Lakh Looted

Employee of a fuel pump located in Paranga under Nisha police limits of Angul district was injured when one of the three robbers fired at him in the fuel pump office and decamped with Rs 2 lakh cash last evening.

The hurt fuel pump staff, identified as Jitendra Behera, sustaining injuries in right leg was admitted to the Angul district headquarters hospital and later shifted to another hospital for better treatment.

While Behera, who works as a manager at the fuel pump, was leaving for the day with the cash, the three robbers reached the fuel pump by a motorcycle.
