IndiGo flight makes emergency landing at Raipur airport after bird hit

An IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at Raipur airport on Sunday evening after being hit by a bird. 

The Kolkata-bound flight from Raipur was made to return due to the incident.  All passengers aboard 6E 252 have been reported to be safe. 

This is the second incident of bird hit in less than a month's time.

On March 25, an Air Arabia flight carrying 182 passengers and crew from Kathmandu made an emergency landing at Lucknow airport after the aircraft suffered a bird hit. The flight was on its way to Sharjah.
