One cannot take scholarships from UGC, AICTE without Aadhaar number

All the candidates need to declare their Aadhaar numbers by June 30.

From now on, all the students seeking scholarships and fellowships from recognised government institutes should possess Aadhaar card number.

On Wednesday, the human resources development (HRD) ministry said that the order covers fellowship schemes implemented by the University Grants Commission and the All India Council for Technical Education.
