SS Rajamouli's magnum opus 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is extending its reign at the box-office with every passing day, since its release on April 28. With a phenomenal response it has received at the ticket window and by the fans, this Prabhas-Rana Daggubati starrer has been labelled as "Indian Cinema's Pride" by the Superstar himself - Rajinikanth.
While the first part, 'Baahubali: The Beginning', released in July 2015 and minted over Rs 600 crore at the box office, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' has zoomed past the Rs 500 crore mark at the worldwide box-office within just three days of its release.
This highly anticipated sequel of the 'Baahubali' franchise opened across as many as 9000 screens worldwide, thus becoming the first film to have such a wide release. The last film to have such a big release was the Aamir Khan starrer 'Dangal', which released across 6000 screens worldwide. In India itself, 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' makers had reportedly booked around 6500 screens.
