CBSE Class 11, Class 12 students to learn Ayurveda, Indian architecture as a subject

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools will now teach Ayurveda, Indian architecture and philosophy as a subject to the class 11 and class 12 students.

According to a report , "The subjects will be part of a new elective - Knowledge, traditions and practices of India - that will combine various disciplines such as mathematics, chemistry, fine arts, agriculture, trade and commerce, astronomy, surgery, environment, life sciences and will be offered in Hindi and English."

On February 3, the Board had released the official notification of restoring the class 10 board exams from the academic session 2017-2018.
