Daruthenga Dumping Yard Row: NGT Seeks Affidavit From BMC

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) on Monday instructed the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) to submit its stand point on the Daruthenga dumping yard issue in form of affidavit on May 30, after the latter failed to submit the clearance it has received from Pollution Control Board (PCB) to continue the dumping operation.

BMC in its reply to NGT mentioned that the dumping is undertaken as per the order of the Odisha High Court. But NGT has asked BMC to submit the details in form of affidavit.
