Hema Malini Calls Deepika 'New Age Dream Girl'

New Delhi, Oct 18: 'Dream Girl' of Bollywood Hema Malini recently lauded actress Deepika Padukone for her work and called her 'Dream Girl of today's age.'

The 31-year-old 'Bajirao Mastani' star recently launched the biography of Hema Malini at one of Mumbai's suburban hotels on the latter's 69th birthday.

When the 'Dream Girl' of golden era was asked whom would she tag as Dream Girl of today’s times, she instantly responded that it is 'Deepika Padukone who deserves the tag of Dream Girl.'

The biography 'Beyond the Dream Girl' is written by veteran journalist Ram Kamal Mukherjee. He has earlier penned a coffee table book on Hema Malini some 15 years back.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also written a foreword for the book.
