Collectors' Conference Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, Oct 27 (Sabyasachi Amitav): A day long Collector's Conference has been convened here on Saturday to work out strategy for effective implementation of the flagship Programs of the State.

The Meet will discuss programs like Mamata, Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana, Cluster Bore Well, Mission Sakti, Niramaya, Nirman shramik Kalyan Yojana, Drinking Water, Rural Electrification, Public Distribution System (PDS),  Pension Schmes, Sarva Sikshya Abhiyan and ICDS.
 
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is taking interest in these above programs and many times, he is reviewing the programs and asking the senior Secretaries to visit the districts and provide him the feedback about the implementation of the schemes, said sources.
 
Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi is also reviewing the flagship programs time to time and guiding the senior officials to scale up the process.
 
However in the Collectors' Meet, the District Collectors will give out details on the above programs being implemented in the Districts.
 
And the State Level Officers will provide the guidance and any mid way corrections if needed for the implementation of the schemes, pointed out a senior official.

Earlier Collectors' Conference were used to held once in a year, however this year it will be the second conference of the Collectors in 2017.
