Blue Whale Challenge: Keonjhar Youth Cuts Wrist

Keonjhar, Oct 28: In yet another incident allegedly linked to Blue Whale Challenge, a college student injured himself grievously by slitting wrist at Salania village under Hatadihi block of the district on Saturday.

The victim has been identified as Manoj Nayak, a student of Jajpur based Baba Bhairabananda Mahavidyalaya.

Manoj was rescued by his family members this morning while cutting his wrists with a blade at home. He was immediately rushed to the local Hospital, where doctors declared him out of danger after preliminary treatment.

Manoj has admitted of playing the 'Blue Whale Challenge', the deadly online game, on his mobile over past few days and took the step as a part of the game.
