BJP Leader Golak Mohapatra dares Ganjam SP

Bhubaneswar, Oct 30: An aggressive Golak Mohapatra, the senior BJP leader and party spokesperson, lashed out at Ganjam Police and SP Ashish Singh, accusing him of working at the behest of BJD leadership to frame him and other BJP leaders to remain in the good books of government. He also dared Ganjam SP to prove his links with Chhatrapur murder case.

The BJP Spokesperson rejected allegations of shielding Chhatrapur NAC Councilor murder accused Krushna Chandra Nayak, saying he never intended to do so. 'As the party's Ganjam In-charge, I speak to hundreds of people everyday and Krushna Nayak was one of them, as he belongs to our party. There is no sin to talk to our party men. That does not prove that I am behind the murder or shielded him', he said.

However, he claimed that the leaked call records are fake and distorted. The BJP leader sought a probe into the source of that 'fake paper'. 'I never sent Krushna Nayak to any place. It's a blatant lie. I am ready to face all kinds of probe,' he added.

Golak Mohapatra further questioned from where the video of Krushna Nayak's statement came and who leaked it to the media. He also sought to know why and who leaked the call records to media and what was the motive behind it. He dared the Ganjam SP to make public call records of all criminals without being selective.
