Run for Unity held in city to mark Patel birthday

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: 'Run for Unity' was organised in the city this morning to mark the 142th birthday of Ironman Sardar Ballavbhai Patel.

Hundreds of school and college students and youths participated in the run organised from Patia Square to the Janata Maidan. Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram joint the run.

It may be noted that the 'Run for Unity' is being observed across the country in the memory of the Patel's contribution in establishing unity among people of the country. President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished people on the occasion. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the national level run.
