New Delhi, Oct 31: Putting all rumours and speculations in social media, the AIIMS, New Delhi authorities have confirmed that the separated conjoined twins Jaga and Kalia remain stable now and improvement can be seen in their condition.
The bulletin says Jaga is responding when he is called by name. Both are breathing fine and it is expected that their condition will improve further in the next 10-15 days.
'The babies are slowly improving and their breathing is also good. They are looked after by Neuroanaesthetists and Neurosurgeons. Pediatric Intensive Care specialists, Pediatric Cardiologists, Pediatric Neuro and Pediatric Nephrologists are also constantly monitoring their improvement,' the release read.
Besides, Jaga has started responding to his name and is on dialysis to support his compromised kidney function, it added.
They will stay in the ICU for another 7-10 days. A team of 25 doctors are closely monitoring the situation.
