Kadvi Hawa: A tale of extremely opposite climates, watch trailer

New Delhi, Oct 31: Presented by Drishyam Films, Kadvi Hawa touches the burning issues of Global Warming and climate change. 

Kadvi Hawa reflects on the immense predicaments faced by farmers whose crops are destroyed either by drought or flood. It also mentions farmer suicide. 

Directed by Nila Madhab Panda and produced by Manish Mundra, Akshay Parija, and Nila Mahdab Panda, Kadvi Hawa features Sanjay Mishra, Ranvir Shorey, Tillotama Shome, and Bhupesh Singh in lead roles. It got a Special Mention at the 64th National Film Awards.

The trailer of the film depicts two extreme climatic conditions, while one village is parched the other is incessantly hit by cyclones, heavy rainfall, and floods.   

While one protagonist is struggling due to lack of water, the other is mourning the loss of his family that drowned in the floods. 

The children of the village know only about two seasons, winter and summer while it rains only for 2-3 days.
