Over 12 Critical After Bus Collides With Pickup van at Choudwar

Cuttack, Nov 1: As many as 12 persons, including four women, sustained critical injuries as a bus and a Pickup van collided head-on at Chatila on the National Highway-16 under Choudwar area in Cuttack district early this morning.

All the injured have been admitted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.

According to reports, the bus carrying tourists was on its way from West Bengal to Puri when it collided head-on with a Pickup van coming from the opposite side at Chatila. Locals and police personnel rescued all the passengers and rushed the injured ones to the SCB Medical College and Cuttack.

Police have seized the vehicles and started investigations.
