BJD councillor murder: Police summons BJP leader Golak Mohapatra

Berhampur, Nov 1: Spelling more trouble for Odisha BJP spokesperson and senior leader Golak Mohapatra, Chhatrapur police has issued notice him to appear before the investigating officer today on alleged link with accused of Chhatrapur councilor Laxmidutta  Pradhan's murder.

According to reports, the police has served a notice to BJP leader Golakh Mohapatra fro questioning in connection with his alleged link with arrested prime accused Krushna Chandra Nayak.

However, Mohapatra has refuted the allegations of having links with the two conspirators arrested in connection with the murder of Chhatrapur councilor Laxmidutta Pradhan. Earlier, in several press meets Mohapatra said that as he  is the BJP observer for Ganjam district many people contact him on phone and he does not know each one of them.

BJP landed in trouble after accused Krusha Chandra Nayak and his associate, N Duryodhan Reddy, who were arrested by the police on October 28, said they were in constant touch with Ganjam's BJP in-charge and spokesperson Golak Mohapatra.
