Summoned BJP Leader Golak Mohapatra Appears Before Police

Chhatrapur, Nov 1: Odisha BJP spokesperson Golak Mohapatra appeared before the Chhatrapur police today in connection with the murder of BJD Councillor Laxmidutta Pradhan.

Mohapatra was seen accompanied by a large number of his supporters and reached the police station on the day. But, the supporters were not allowed to enter.

Chhatrapur SDPO and two Addl SP were inside the police station for questioning him.

Elaborate police bandobast was made to avert any untoward incident and maintain law and order.

Earlier, addressing a press meet Mohapatra said that he had not provided security to anybody therefore he is  ready to face probe.

It is to be noted that Golak Mohapatra has been summoned for questioning in connection with his alleged links with arrested Krushna Chandra Nayak-a key conspirator in the brutal murder of Chhatrapur Councillor.
