Baby elephant rescued from well in Khurda

Khurda, Nov 3: Forest officials on Friday morning rescued an elephant infant from a well at Padmapur village under Tangi police limits in Khurda district.

The elephant infant had come with its mother to agricultural field of the village in search of food when it fell into a well there, said reports. On being informed by villagers, forest officials reached the spot and rescued the elephant cub. Now, they have sent the infant to Khurda for treatment.
