Lakhs throng Lord Dhabaleswar Peeth on 4th day of Panchuka

Cuttack, Nov 3: Lakhs of devotees have thronged the Dhabaleswar Peeth to have Darshan of Lord Dhabaleswar on the fourth day of the Panchuka on Friday.

Devotees have stood in the lines from the two sides, Cuttack and Mancheswar, to reach the famous Shiva temple and offer prayers to the Lord. Gaja Bhog offered to the lord yesterday is now available for the devotees in the temple premises.

As tomorrow is the fifth and final day of the Panchuka, thousands of devotees are expected to stay back in the island to float Boita in the holy waters of river Mahanadi.

It may be noted that 18 platoons of police force have been deployed for smooth Darshan of the Lord by lakhs of devotees.
