Rourkela: Two persons, including Kuarnmunda block Majapada samiti member Sandip Danga were arrested for their alleged links with Peoples' Liberation Front of India (PLFI), a splinter group of the Communist party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) in Rourkela.

The other arrested person has been identified as Anil Hansda.

They were arrested on the basis of the information of the two arrested PLFI members, who were arrested by the police after an encounter at Ambapani forests on Thursday. Police are interrogating them and prepared a plan to nab the others who are helping the PLFI movement in the area.

Last month, a retired Assistant Commandant of the Border Security Force (BSF) among six members of the PLFI was arrested by Birmitrapur police.
